Olawale Osunsanya, MD

Dr. Osunsanya completed his residency at Texas Tech University in 2003. His fellowship in nephrology was completed at Virginia Commonwealth University in 2005. He was awarded best overall resident in 2003. Dr. osunsanya is board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. He is a member of the American Medical Association and American Society of Nephrology. He has hospital privileges at Flowers Hospital, Southeast Alabama Medical Center, Dale Medical Center, Medical Center Barbour and HealthSouth Rehabilitation. He serves as medical director of Ozark Davita, Miller county Davita, and Wiregrass Davita.

Dr. Osunsanya, otherwise known as Dr. O., joined Dothan Hypertension Nephrology Associates in 2005. He specializes in the treatment of various kidney disorders, including acute renal failure, chronic kidney disease, polycystic kidney disease, diabetic nephropathy, and hypertension. Patients that need renal replacement therapy are given several different options for treatment, such as peritoneal dialysis, in-center hemodialysis, home hemodialysis, and referral for transplant to the center of choice.

Guru Prakash, M.D., F.A.C.P.

Dr. Prakash founded Dothan Hypertension Nephrology Associates in 1984. His expertise in the care and management of all problems related to the kidneys has been priceless to the residents of the Wiregrass area. Dr. Prakash continues to improve the care of his patients by bringing the latest treatments in chronic and acute renal failure to his practice.

Gregory M. Wells, MD

Dr. Wells obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in biology and biochemistry from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He was awarded his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in 2001.

Melissa Holman, CRNP

Since January 2003, Melissa has worked as a nurse practitioner for Dothan Hypertension Nephrology Associates. Her practice focus is on the management of chronic kidney disease, hypertension, anemia and renal replacement therapies.

Chanetta Woodham, CRNP

Chanetta obtained her Master’s degree in 2010. She joined Dothan Hypertension Nephrology Associates in 2011 as a nurse practitioner. She excels at the care of people with chronic kidney disease and people that require renal replacement therapies.
